The future for mountaineering and climbing in Sikkim looks very bright. The State
Government has built it clear for foreign visitors to get approach to some interesting
peaks. The border areas are becoming less responsive, and confidently in the future tourism and mountain The tourism service providers in the capital Gangtok are friendly and
trustworthy, and are being supported by the Ministry of Tourism.
They are extending their scope to provide services to international tourists and
mountain re creationists, and at the same time promoting sustainable development in
